West Ham Fight Back to Secure a Point at Home

In a thrilling London derby, Chelsea were held to a 2-1 draw by West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday. The Blues took the lead twice through goals from Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell, but the Hammers fought back each time to earn a well-deserved point.
Chelsea started the match brightly and took the lead after just 20 minutes. Havertz found space in the West Ham penalty area and fired a low shot into the bottom corner. The Blues continued to dominate the first half, but they were unable to add to their lead before the break.
West Ham came out fighting in the second half and equalised after 55 minutes. Jarrod Bowen crossed the ball into the Chelsea penalty area and Michail Antonio headed home from close range. The Hammers continued to press and took the lead ten minutes later when Said Benrahma scored a stunning goal from outside the box.
Chelsea pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but they were unable to find a way through the West Ham defence. The Hammers held on to secure a famous victory, while Chelsea were left to rue their missed opportunities.
The draw leaves Chelsea in second place in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Arsenal. West Ham moved up to eighth place with the point.
