Pittsburgh Steelers Linebacker Injured in Win Over Ravens

Watt Expected to Miss Multiple Games

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL during Saturday's 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens, according to NFL sources. The injury occurred in the second quarter when Watt was blocked by Ravens tight end Mark Andrews. Watt was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he did not return to the game.

An MRI on Sunday confirmed the sprain, and Watt is expected to miss multiple games. The Steelers have not yet announced a timetable for his return, but he is likely to be out for at least the next two weeks.

Watt is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, and his absence will be a major blow to the Steelers' defense. He has 10 sacks this season, which is tied for second in the league. He also has 26 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions.

The Steelers will have to rely on other players to step up in Watt's absence. Bud Dupree, who has started opposite Watt all season, will likely see an increased role. The Steelers could also move Olasunkanmi Adeniyi from the defensive line to outside linebacker to replace Watt.

The Steelers are 8-0 this season and have the best record in the NFL. They will face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football in Week 10.
